Rod Ankrom began as pastor at Calvary in October 2013. He has been married to the love of his life, Michelle, for 35 years. He has two children, Jonathan (living at home) and Jennifer (occupational therapist, married to Matthew and living in Marshfield) and Granddaughter Hallie Sue.
Rod grew up on a farm near Manchester, Iowa. He earned his B.A. from Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL) and received his M.Div. from Bethel Theological Seminary (St. Paul, MN). He has been in pastoral ministry since 1991 and has served churches in Iowa, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
Currently, Rod is on the board for New Dawn Pregnancy Center and Boys and Girls Club. He volunteers as a Special Olympics coach (Athletics/Track and Field) and with ACES (Association of Churches for Emergency Support). He also serves as the LEAD team captain for North Central Wisconsin churches that are part of Converge Great Lakes. Other interests include hunting, fishing, sports, reading, and growing things.
