WiRED we will be doing a 3 day backpacking / camping trip this June 4, 5, an 6th. This will be a great time to come together as a group and bond as well as make new friends and learn more about God in His creation. There will be two Wilderness First Responders on the trip (myself and Dale Haskins) as well as his wife Desi Haskins who has her CPR-pro. Pastor will be joining us for Saturday evening dinner. The students will go through a three day devotional and complete an hour SOLO where they will be able to sit alone with God and reflect on what they've been learning. This is a great opportunity for students to take on leadership roles as they will have to work as a team to make meals, set up camp, and complete other daily tasks.  We will be hiking 3-5 miles each day on a relatively easy trail, Hidden Lakes, located in Nicolet National Forest. We will provide all the technical gear such as tents, sleeping pads, backpacks, and cooking items. It is $50.00 per student which includes the gear rental fees, the transportation, campsite fees, and food. Students will be able to invite friends as well, however we can't have more than 12 students on the trip.
